What Almond Moms, Women on GLP-1s, and You Have in Common

Jul 20, 2026

I've noticed something on Instagram lately. Even accounts I love, the ones challenging diet culture, have started mocking people instead of just challenging ideas. Almond moms, GLP-1 users, stay-at-home moms versus working moms. Different topic, same pattern. We've turned judging other people into a content genre, and I get why. It gets views.

Here's what I got into in this week's episode:

  1. Judging creates a turbulent inner state, constant categorizing into good/bad, right/wrong. It's noise, and it doesn't actually feel good, even though we keep doing it.

  2. Most of our opinions aren't ours. They're conditioned beliefs we absorbed and never examined, and we treat them as fact.

  3. Judgment is either projection or mirroring. We don't see the world as it is, we see it as we are.

  4. The real key: your own self-judgment is the only judgment with actual power. A comment you don't believe rolls off you. A comment that matches something you already believe about yourself sits with you for days.

  5. This is exactly what keeps people stuck in weight loss. It's not the cookie, it's the self-judgment after the cookie that sends you into the restrict-binge cycle.

  6. The freedom on the other side: every opinion you set down is less noise, and less noise means you can finally hear the voice that actually matters.

This is also exactly why I named my program No Judgment. Not just no judgment from me toward you, no judgment from you toward yourself.
